Fire rips through home in Old Bridge

OLD BRIDGE - A fire seriously damaged a home in Middlesex County Sunday.

News 12 is told the fire started around 1:30 p.m. at a two-story home near Firethorn and Oakland roads in Old Bridge.

Neighbors say it started as an electrical fire in the garage and then spread to the car inside and the house.

News 12 is told no one was injured during the fire but some firefighters appeared to be dealing with heat exhaustion.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
