KEARNY - Kearny police say several patients were moved from the continuing care center on Bergen Avenue this morning due to a small fire.

Authorities say patients were taken by bus to a nearby facility. Others were moved within the building to get away from the smoke.

Authorities said the fire was minor and did not cause any major damage or injuries.
