A total of six fire companies worked together to put out a large house fire that broke out Friday morning in Toms River.

Everyone inside the two-story home home on Clinton Avenue made it out safely before it was consumed by the flames.

Fire crews tried to rescue two mixed-breed Rhodesian Ridgebacks trapped inside the home, but they died in the fire.
