Fire destroys Point Pleasant home (4/18/16)

POINT PLEASANT BOROUGH - An early-morning fire destroyed a home in Ocean County.

The fire broke out at around 4:45 a.m. in a home on Anchor Court in Point Pleasant Borough. 

Fire officials say two people were inside the home when the fire broke out, but they were able to escape the flames safely. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
