CLINTON - A major four-alarm fire ripped through a historic music hall in Clinton Sunday morning, destroying the building and damaging several businesses.
The fire sparked around 8:30 a.m. It tore through the Clinton Music Hall, which had been standing since the mid-1800s and was once where traveling vaudeville performers gave shows.

Fire crews drew water from the nearby Raritan River to douse the flames.
Several firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion, but no serious injuries were reported.
