A fast-moving overnight fire has damaged several businesses in downtown Toms River.

TOMS RIVER - A fast-moving overnight fire has damaged several businesses in downtown Toms River.

The fire broke out early this morning in a building on Robbins Street. Fire officials believe the fire started in East Coast Gamers and spread to adjacent businesses. 

Among the businesses that were damaged was the landmark Capone’s Restaurant on Washington Street.

A spokesman for the Toms River Fire Department says there have been no injuries.
