Fifty people are without a home Monday morning after a fire in Passaic.

Officials say the blaze started at 11:25 p.m. Saturday at 218 Columbia Ave. and spread to a neighboring home. Two cars between the homes were also burned during the incident.

A total of 50 people needed to evacuate from the scene. There were no injuries.
