Fire at All-State insurance building in Toms River prompts investigation

TOMS RIVER - Emergency crews responded to a fire at the All-State Insurance building off Route 37 in Toms River early Saturday morning.

Officials say the blaze started at around 3 a.m. on the first floor of the building. It then spread to the second floor.

Police say it took about an hour and a half before fire crews were able to get the flames under control.

The Toms River Fire Department and the Ocean County Prosecutors Arson Unit are investigating what may have sparked the fire.
