Fire at All-State insurance building in Toms River prompts investigation

The Toms River Fire Department and the Ocean County Prosecutors Arson Unit are investigating what may have sparked the fire. (3/29/14)

TOMS RIVER - Emergency crews responded to a fire at the All-State Insurance building off Route 37 in Toms River early Saturday morning.

Officials say the blaze started at around 3 a.m. on the first floor of the building. It then spread to the second floor.

Police say it took about an hour and a half before fire crews were able to get the flames under control.
