LINDEN - A mobile app helped police in Union County track down stolen goods.

Linden police say two men were walking along Henry Street last night when two other men robbed them at gunpoint. They say the suspects took a wallet, debit card, credit card and an iPhone.

Authorities say an officer at the scene used "Find My iPhone" to track down the stolen cellphone and the suspects.

Geek Squad employees at Best Buy in Woodbridge say there are locator apps available for all smartphone systems. They say they are free and easy to use.
