JERSEY CITY - School officials say Ferris High School will remain closed Wednesday.

A water main broke near the school Sunday night, sending water pouring into the boiler room. The flooding knocked the power out to most of the building.

Crews have since restored the power, but more work needs to be done before classes can resume. School officials say the closings will not affect the school's schedule for the rest of the year.
