FEMA opens hotline, website for NJ

TRENTON - (AP) - Individuals and business owners in all New Jersey counties can begin seeking federal assistanceto recover from Hurricane Irene.

Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and homerepairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured or underinsured propertylosses, and other programs to help individuals and business ownersrecover.

Residents and businesses can register online atwww.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA between 8a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
