Father of NJ boy abducted to Brazil in 2004 pens tell-all book

EDISON - The New Jersey father who reunited with his son years after the boy was taken to Brazil is talking about his ordeal in a new book.

David Goldman says the memoir, "A Father's Love," exposes the weaknesses of international child abduction treaties, and that he wanted to keep the issue in the public eye. Goldman's late wife took their son, Sean, on vacation to Brazil in 2004. The boy was ordered to return home after more than five years of legal battles. "I am able to still share and enjoy his youth," Goldman said. "And my goal is when he grows up, he'll look back on his youth with more fondness than sadness."

Goldman will be attending congressional hearings May 24 on the issue of international child abductions.
