HOLMDEL - Christmas trees are already popping up at stands around the state ahead of Thanksgiving weekend.
On Monday, Dearborn Market in Holmdel started getting its Christmas trees set up and ready for sale starting on Saturday.
Each year the market on Highway 35 sets up a variety of douglas firs and balsam trees from Pennsylvania, Canada and Virginia.
It takes several days to get the garden center and outdoor area filled with wreaths, trees and decorations.
"They will finalize everything out here, and by Saturday at 8 in the morning we are ready to go," says Dearborn Market owner D.J. Luccarelli.
Trees at the market will range in size from 4 feet tall to about 15 feet tall.
