Family says killer texted, called after murdering woman

NEWARK - Family members of a woman who was murdered in Newark yesterday say the accused killer called and sent text messages from the victim's phone shortly afterward. Investigators say Silvia Paucar-Sanchez, 37, was fatally choked by 32-year-old Roberto Ortiz, who is now in police custody. The victim and the accused killer worked together, but according to the family, Ortiz wanted more than a professional relationship. Paucar-Sanchez's husband, Emilio Sanchez, says Ortiz would send her text messages telling her to leave her husband. Paucar-Sanchez's body was found inside her car on Stone Street in Newark.
