HARRISON - Family members gathered at the Hudson County home tonight of a family that was slain by one of its own. A candlelight vigil was also held for those killed
The Hudson County prosecutor has charged Carlos P. Campos, 23, of Harrison, with three counts of murder and unlawful possession of a weapon. Officials say Campos took the life of his father, Carlos Campos-Trinidad, 56, his mother, Ruth Pereira, 58, and his niece Gabriella Morales.
Friends of the family told News 12 New Jersey that Campos struggled with depression and was perhaps off his medication.
