NEWARK - Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents at Newark Liberty International Airport have come under fire after a fake bomb made it through a security checkpoint last month.

The undercover members of the TSA Red Team passed through the B1 checkpoint at the airport’s Terminal B back on Feb. 25.

The first member went through with no contraband. The second went through wearing a fake bomb under his clothing. He passed through the metal detector and then went through a pat-down, before being allowed to proceed to his gate. A third undercover agent tried to pass through with a fake bomb inside of a doll, but it was detected by an X-ray machine.

According to the Associated Press, Rep. Peter King(R-N.Y.) has requested a "top-to-bottom" review of all TSA operations at the airport.
