Fairview Police Chief Frank Del Vecchio is running his own personal marathon to raise as much money as possible for Sandy victims.

FAIRVIEW - A local police chief is training for a run of more than 100 miles from Moonachie to Seaside Heights.

Fairview Police Chief Frank Del Vecchio is running his own personal marathon to raise as much money as possible for Sandy victims.

Del Vecchio will begin on May 23 and run for approximately 30 hours through Staten Island and New Jersey.

All of the money raised will go to Del Vecchio's charity, Run for Hope.
