FAIR LAWN - Some Fair Lawn residents had the chance to meet with a police officer Tuesday and enjoy a sushi meal together.

It was all part of a new initiative held at the Green Dragon restaurant on Fair Lawn Avenue to allow residents to meet the town’s police officers and ask them questions.

The officers who participated in the program said it was a great opportunity for them to meet with residents in a neutral setting so residents could voice their concerns.

Participants also were able to eat sushi samples and were given green tea free of charge.
