FAA probes small plane crash at Lincoln Park Airport

LINCOLN PARK - The FAA is investigating a small plane crash that happened at the Lincoln Park Airport today.

Chopper 12 was over the scene after the pilot of a 2011 Cessna "Sky Catcher," single-engine aircraft, attempted to land at the airport and lost control, causing the plane to veer off the runway and strike several trees.

The pilot, Ilya Kleyn, of Cliffside Park, suffered minor facial lacerations and complained of both back and neck pain. He was transported to Chilton Memorial Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Officials say Kleyn was the only individual on the aircraft.
