COLTS NECK - Residents living near Naval Weapons Station Earle should not be alarmed if they hear or feel detonations near the base today.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, along with the Transportation Security Administration, is conducting explosive demolition training at the base. Base officials say the detonations are planned for the afternoon hours, however, weather conditions may dictate scheduling them for the morning. The last day of training is scheduled for today.
