HILLSBOROUGH - A group of experts is stressing the importance of using green infrastructure to manage floodwater.

The group, made up of experts from Rutgers University and the EPA, met today at Duke Farms in Hillsborough.

The group also discussed rain gardens and inventions like water permeable pavement that will help stop flooding.

It is also working on ways to stop flooding before it even starts.
