EDISON - The Rubik's Cube turns 40 this year, and Liberty Science Center in Jersey City is hosting an exhibit dedicated to the iconic puzzle toy.
The exhibit Beyond Rubik's Cube explores not only the cube, but its influence on science, technology and the arts over its four decades. There will also be one of the country's faster solvers on hand at the center for the opening.
New Jersey is the very first stop on a national tour. Erno Rubik, the Hungarian inventor of the cube, will visit the Liberty Science Center for the opening as well.
The exhibit is opening to the public on Saturday and runs through November.
