HACKENSACK - Former New York Giants player George Martin walked today to honor the first responders who helped out on 9/11.

Martin, who was joined by a few hundred of his friends, walked seven miles from the George Washington Bridge to Fairleigh Dickinson University.

The Journey for 9/11 Foundation has raised more than $3 million to date. The foundation provides medical care for first responders at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Hackensack University Medical Center and the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System.
