BRICK - A former Brick Township councilman is accused of allegedly having inappropriate sexual contact with a 15-year-old boy.
Daniel Toth was arrested Monday after the teen reported the allegations to Jackson police. Toth is charged with criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
Toth was a council member in Brick until 2013 when he did not seek re-election so that he could run for mayor. He lost the Republican mayoral primary. He is currently running for office once again.
