WALDWICK - Police have made an arrest in connection with the death of a young Bergen County mother.
Bergen County prosecutors say 22-year-old Mark Spatucci was arrested yesterday and is facing charges of murder, hindering apprehension, burglary and endangering the welfare of a child.
Officers responded to a home in Waldwick Wednesday where they found Mary Greff, 23, at the home she shares with her parents. The victim's father found Greff dead in the home, along with her 10-month-old child, who was found uninjured and alone in a bassinet. Spatucci is the father of the infant.

Authorities say the couple began dating about two years ago, but Greff recently moved back in with her parents.
Prosecutors say Greff had full custody of the child, and Spatucci had visitation rights.
Police believe Spatucci climbed in through a second-floor window and entered the bedroom as the baby and the victim's parents slept.
Prosecutors say an argument between the two turned violent and ended with Spatucci killing Greff. They say her body showed signs of significant trauma, including choking and asphyxiation.
Spatucci's first court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
