TRENTON - Officials say that residents of the Luther Tower in Trenton may need to wait another five or six days before returning after a fire Thursday.

The fire broke out in the building's basement at around midnight.

For now, 78 residents are spending the night inside Joyce Kilmer Elementary School, where the Red Cross and Trenton Soup Kitchen have provided meals and shelter.

Mayor Tony Mack says the goal is to get those residents hotel accommodations while repairs are made.
