LIVINGSTON - A wayward lamb kept first responders busy for nearly two hours in Livingston Tuesday evening.
Police took a call Tuesday evening that the lamb escaped from a home on Ashwood Drive.
According to police transmissions, the animal was purchased by the family to eat for Greek Easter dinner, but the lamb got away.
Police officers, firefighters and animal control officers spent about 90 minutes chasing the lamb before finally capturing it. Several photos of the chase were posted on Twitter.
The lamb was taken to a local farm.
