A wayward lamb kept first responders busy for nearly two hours in Livingston Tuesday evening.

Police took a call Tuesday evening that the lamb escaped from a home on Ashwood Drive.

According to police transmissions, the animal was purchased by the family to eat for Greek Easter dinner, but the lamb got away.
