Escaped cow finds new life in New Jersey (1/26/16)

WANTAGE - Remember the cow that escaped from a Queens slaughterhouse and ran around the streets before finally being captured?

That cow is now named Freddie and living in New Jersey.

Mike Stura of Pompton Lakes worked overnight to save Freddie and brought him to Skylands Animal Sanctuary in Wantage.

The cow has been there for four days. He was checked out by vets and said to be doing really well.
