Engine trouble stalls Amtrak train

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP - (AP) - A disabled Amtrak traincaused delays along the Northeast Corridor in New Jersey Monday.

Amtrak spokesman Clifford Cole says the train broke down becauseof engine problems in West Windsor.

Cole says 50 passengers were transferred to another train. The breakdown caused delays for New Jersey Transit trains in andout of New York City. Spokesman Dan Stessel says its trains arerunning up to 30 minutes behind schedule on the Northeast Corridor.
