HOBOKEN - New Jersey’s newest resident just could not wait to greet the world, and decided to do so during a blizzard.

The Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps. responded to a 911 call from a woman who had gone into labor just around 5 p.m. Crew chief Scarlett Guajala and members Mike Vales and Anthony Grasso responded to the scene and helped with the delivery.

The expecting mother was found in the bathtub, and the EMTs helped move her to a couch, where she delivered a healthy baby girl.

The mother and child are said to be doing well at the hospital.
