DOVER - Employee volunteers from the Mars chocolate company teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to construct a home in Dover Tuesday.

The effort was part of Mars Volunteer Program Day and a campaign by the company to encourage Americans to "M'Prove America" through its partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

"Throughout this county, which is Habitat's service area, we've got 11 projects that we're building this year and we're going to be starting another 11 in 2014,” says executive director Blair Schleicherbravo, of Morris Habitat for Humanity.

The company is encouraging fans to donate their time at build sites across the country and says it will donate $500,000 to Habitat for Humanity.
