ELIZABETH - An Elizabeth man has been charged with his girlfriend's murder on Easter Sunday.

Arturo Alomas is accused of killing Trenice Johnson in her home last month.

An autopsy found she was strangled.

If convicted, Alomas faces 30 years to life in prison.
