While the first few unofficial days of summer have led many to fire up their air conditioning, a little bit of added relief is coming

MORRISTOWN - While the first few unofficial days of summer have led many to fire up their air conditioning, a little bit of added relief is coming to homeowners by means of an electricity rate drop.

Jersey Central Power and Light (JCP&L) has announced that its rates will decrease by more than 6 percent starting in June.

Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) will reduce rates by almost 3 percent.
