EDISON - News 12 New Jersey traffic reporter Cara DiFalco helps viewers navigate through the kitchen this Easter.

Along with her mom Marie, and Aunt Mary, Cara demonstrates how to cook traditional Italian Easter foods ahead of the holiday weekend.

Below are her recipes for the dishes she prepared: Grammy's Pizza GainMakes 2, 9" pies

4 - pie crusts 1 - 1 1/2 lbs Procuttini (ham with pepper all around) 1/2 lb pepperoni (Ask your butcher to slice each approx 1/4" thick) 3/4 - 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage without casing 2 basket cheeses 8 eggs 1 cup ricotta grated parmesan cheese (about large 3 handfuls) pinch of baking powder

- Dice ham, pepperoni and basket cheese into small cubes. - Put in large bowl. - Cook sausage in sauté pan and drain on paper towel. Add sausage to other meats. - Beat eggs add to meat. - Add ricotta, grated cheese and baking powder. - Stir well. - Place in pie crust, top with another crust, brush with egg wash and cook in 350 degree oven for approx 1 - 1 1/2 hours or until golden brown.
