EAST ORANGE - A man from East Orange accused of the murder of a former football star could face up to 15 years in prison under a plea deal.

Shawn Watford is accused of driving the car in a 2012 drive-by-shooting that killed former Orange High School football star Malcom Bagley.

Watford is charged with murder, but a plea deal would require him to admit to conspiracy to commit murder.

His lawyers have not yet responded to the offer.
