WYCKOFF - A man making a court appearance in Wyckoff on a DWI charge was arrested a second time after police spotted drugs in the front seat of the car he arrived in.
Richard Hamedl, 24, of the Bronx, says his friend had driven him to court.
While he was in court, police say they spotted his friend's car illegally parked outside the police station. When they looked inside, they say they spotted marijuana in a pill bottle on the front seat.

Police say Hamedl admitted the narcotics belonged to him.
"The moral of the story is when you come to court, don't park illegally and don't leave your drugs on the front seat," says Wyckoff Police Chief Benjamin Fox.
Hamedl was arrested for narcotics possession and will be back in Wyckoff Municipal Court Sept. 25.
