JERSEY CITY - Hudson County prosecutor Edward DeFazio says investigators believe Randy "Amanda" Lehrer was strangled by her husband shortly after she was last seen on Aug. 17th.

The 32-year-old's remains were found inside a 55-gallon cement-filled drum Friday in the apartment building where the couple and their infant daughter lived.

Her husband, Steven Acuna, has been charged in connection with her murder.

DeFazio says investigators believe the killing was the result of domestic violence.

Acuna had said his wife disappeared after an argument. He relocated to Toms River after Lehrer disappeared. He was arrested there Friday.
