NEWARK - Municipalities across the Garden State worked hard ahead of the latest winter blast to clear streets in neighborhoods where parking spaces are limited.

On Ann Street in Newark's Ironbound, neighbors say they have been getting ticketed because of the way they are parking. Residents say they have no where to legally park.

Macley Ortiz says he got two tickets in five days for parking his car at an angle in front of his own house. He says mounds of snow are also forcing people to double park.

"They expect us to find parking," says Nuno Prazeras. "They give out tickets but they don't clean out the snow."

Delivery drivers say they too are struggling. "I parked to make my delivery and the cop wrote me a ticket," said Matheus Caracanha, a pizza delivery driver.

The parking tickets are $35 each.
