BLOOMFIELD - A Bloomfield man has turned himself in to police in connection with a crash that killed a Bloomfield teen.
Nicholas Camasco, 23, faces charges of vehicular homicide and aggravated assault by auto.
According to police, 16-year-old Christina Lembo, of Bloomfield, was a passenger in the backseat of a Honda Civic when it collided with Camasco's Chevy Camaro. The accident happened just blocks from Lembo's home on Broughton Avenue.
Witnesses say Lembo was pinned in a fetal position in the back of the car.
Lembo was later pronounced dead at University Hospital.
Four others - two occupants of the car Lembo was riding in along with two of Camasco's passengers - sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash.
