MILLVILLE - The southern New Jersey man who was allegedly fleeing from police when his car collided with a police cruiser, killing one officer and seriously injuring another now faces aggravated manslaughter charges.
Authorities say Timothy Seidel II was critically injured in Sunday morning's crash in Millville. Officials say Seidel had recently applied to join the Millville police force.
Officer Christopher Reeves, an 8-year veteran of the force, was killed in the crash.
The other Millville officer in the cruiser, Johnathan Seidel, was seriously injured and remained hospitalized yesterday afternoon. Prosecutors say he is not related to the accused motorist.
