MADISON - (AP) - Safe sex is no longer free on one New Jersey college campus.

Drew University in Madison has eliminated a basket of free condoms in the lobby of the school's health services department.

The school said budget cuts in the department and the theft of condoms led to the decision. The department also has eliminated free Gatorade and ibuprofen.

The school spent several hundred dollars on the condoms.

Drew spokesman David Muha told The Daily Record of Parsippany some people took large quantities of condoms and someone even stole the basket.
