WOODBRIDGE - Public works crews statewide took advantage of the warm New Jersey weather to prepare for winter.

Dennis Henry, director of Public Works in Woodbridge, says crews were out paving, sweeping streets and cleaning rivers – all things they wouldn't be able to do in colder weather.

"We gotta watch out for a nor'easter now because of the way it's coming. We had one go off the coast last week that missed us, so it's nice to work in this weather, but now we have to be nervous about the nor'easters coming up the coast,” he says.

Henry says the Parks Department remains busy as well, as residents are still enjoying playgrounds.
