BRICK - For 40 special-needs children and young adults, today was a "Best Day" as they got to enjoy a beautiful day at the beach with the help of dozens of volunteers.

The Best Day Foundation has been hosting these days to give special-needs individuals a chance to enjoy the beach and gain some self-esteem through the activities such as surfing, boogie boarding and obstacle courses.

Many of the special-needs individuals suffer from autism, cerebral palsy or other developmental disabilities.
