EDISON - Police say the tires of 22 cars were slashed overnight on several different streets in Edison.

Multiple tires were cut on several cars, and vandals even dumped leaves on some of the vehicles.

Residents told News 12 Jersey the same type of attacks happened at around the same time last year.

The slashings happened in the early morning hours on Parkway Place, Lakeview Boulevard, Church Street, Thomasine Street, Germantown Avenue, Roger Road and Columbus Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Edison Detective Bureau.
