ATLANTIC CITY - (AP) - "Do AC!" is the new tourism slogan for Atlantic City.

The slogan, to be unveiled next month, replaces "Always Turned On," which has been the resort's motto since 2003.

It's part of a $30 million casino-funded campaign to promote the nation's second-largest gambling resort through a group called The Atlantic City Alliance.

Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority Jeff Vasser president says the slogan tested well, and should help motivate people to visit what once was dubbed the "World's Favorite Playground."

The slogan was first reported by The Press of Atlantic City, which obtained a memo circulated by the owners of four casinos here.
