ENGLEWOOD - Steven Altman, the attorney for Dharun Ravi, says he will appeal the former Rutgers student's conviction in the webcam spying trial.
Altman told News 12 New Jersey that he and his team were stunned by the verdict that left Ravi convicted of a hate crime.
"My reaction was anger," he said. "As his lawyer, what didn't I do?"
Ravi is scheduled to be sentenced on May 21. He faces up to 10 years in prison and possible deportation.
