WESTFIELD - Demolition has begun on the Trader Joe’s in Westfield after it was badly damaged during January’s blizzard.

A large portion of the roof and some of the walls collapsed last month after the snow became too heavy.

A spokesperson for Trader Joe’s says that there are plans to eventually reopen the store at the same location.

Westfield Trader Joe’s employees will be relocated to other stores for the time being.
