DELAWARE TWP. - Officials in Delaware Township are considering a limit on the number of dogs allowed per household.

Under the proposed plan, households would be limited to six dogs. Households would also be restricted on the number of puppies each dog in that household can have.

Officials introduced the ordinance because of an increase in complaints about dog waste and noise.

The next meeting on the dog ownership issue will be Nov. 5.
