MONTCLAIR - If the DeCamp strike goes through, hundreds of passengers could be stranded in New Jersey and New York. The DeCamp Bus Company, which provides service from the suburbs to the city and back again may go on strike Thursday.
About 7,900 riders use the DeCamp bus service daily. The drivers are planning a strike because of raises, benefits and talk of a salary cap. About 100 DeCamp Bus Company drivers will be impacted by the strike.
The drivers authorized the strike three months ago, while the union kept negotiating, but there's been no contract for a year and a half.
