EDISON - Gov. Chris Christie faces a deadline Monday to sign or veto several bills.

One of the bills deals with equal pay between men and women for the same job.

The bill allows for damages to be tripled in civil lawsuits against employers, if violations are proven.

Two other notable bills deal with endangered animals.

One bill would prohibit the possession, import or export of animal parts of endangered species such as elephants, rhinoceros, tigers, lions and leopards.

The other bill would prohibit the transport of 'parts of endangered animals' through any airport owned or operated by the Port Authority.
